Wolski forest covers 419 ha of land, where you can totally forget that you are still in the city, just 20 minutes from the market square. A dream place for walkers, cyclists (there are also routes for extreme mountain ones), runners, cross-country skiers, and even for horse riders.
The red trail inviting you to the Wolski Forest starts just 500 metres from the WV estate.
Trial to Błonia Meadows along Rudawa river embankments
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoy the stunning walk to Błonia Meadows (4.5 km), and even further to the Vistula boulevard!
- 4.5 km long, great for walks (55 minutes one way) and bicycle trips.
- Running loop 11.5 km – along Rudawa river embankments – around Błonia Meadows and back along river.
- Over 20 km running loop – along the Rudawa Embankments – along the Błonia to the Vistula river along the Vistula Boulevard to Kazimierz district and return along the same route.
Młynówka Królewska Park
Młynówka Królewska Park starts just 1 km from WV. If you prefer leisurely walks, but in a more urban atmosphere, choose the Longest Park Municipal in Poland – Młynówka Królewska. Walking and bicycling patch leads for over 7 km along the former Młynówka river bed to Aleja in the centre of Krakow. On the way, there are numerous playgrounds and water intake points.
Kryspinów Recreational reservoir
Yes, you are only 5 minutes away by car from a place where you can sunbathe and swim in summer, and cool water swim in autumn and winter! You can also practice water sports here. The following sports clubs are located at the lagoon: the Krakow Sailing Society, Windsurfing Abysal, and Sport Club Kryspinów (tennis courts). You can also eat a delicious dinner in the area – there are several restaurants and eateries open seasonally, some of them open all year round. A very popular one “ Skansen Smaków” is highly recommended.
